Mickey Mouse is the official mascot of Disney – when he was first created he was called Mortimer! He was the first animated character to receive his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The woman who voiced Mickey Mouse’s girlfriend, Russi Taylor, married the man who voiced Mickey, Wayne Allwine, in 1991.
