When writing the “Harry Potter” book series, J.K. Rowling had considered giving the magic-hating Dudley Dursley a magical child in the epilogue of the final novel. The idea was that Harry would bump into him, as he waved his child off on the Hogwarts Express, but she dropped the idea after she decided that the Dursley family were far too anti-wizard to have any magical DNA.
