Interesting fact:

“The Goose Girl” is a tale about a princess and a maid switching identities. The maid, understandably trying to improve her status and quality of life, gets punished in the end by being put, naked, into a spike-filled barrel which is rolled around until she dies. It’s a bit like a gymwheel, really.
