Interesting fact:

He was born in Newton, Massachusetts, and he was an only child in a working-class family. His grandfather was a carpenter, his father a mechanic. He trained to be a carpenter and said: “Because you build things that people are going to be living in for a long time.” At age 18 he moved to New York and began modelling which led to commercials and small TV roles.
