It’s not just surf, sun and koala bears. Australia has some creepy-ass places too, like the ARADALE ASYLUM in Ararat.

Interesting fact:

This vast complex opened in 1867 and has housed tens of thousands of patients. The mortality rate at Aradale is particularly horrifying, over 13,000 people have died within the boundaries of its walls. Visitors tell tales of the ghost of Nurse Kerry who is said to float through the women’s wing. More broadly, there are regular unexplained incidences of temperature fluctuations and loud bangs from empty rooms. We’ll stick to Bondi Beach.
