Interesting fact:

An early version of Picasso’s “The Weeping Woman” was stolen from the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, in 1986. The ransom demanded by the thieves was an increase in funding to the arts! The painting was later found at a train station, and to this day, the culprits have not been identified.
