• Ask your partner to try and find out why it meows so much. Surely there is an explanation for the destructive cat behavior.
• Try and trick the cat by hiding treats in another part of the house to keep it occupied.
• Feed the cat to make it shut up (ignoring the fact that it has already had dinner).
