How's this for keeping cool under pressure: three minutes into the lunar descent burn, astronaut Neil Armstrong noticed that the craters were passing by too quickly and the landing computer had malfunctioned. With one minute of fuel left, Armstrong chose a different, safer landing site. With Buzz Aldrin reading off the fuel levels, Armstrong coolly set the lander on the surface of the moon.
