More coffee talk: Americans, especially those growing up in the 1980s and 90s, will be familiar with the popular children’s toy G.I. Joe. During World War II, American soldiers were known as G.I. Joes, and as they drank large amounts of coffee, the drink soon earned itself the nickname “a cup of Joe.”
