Interesting fact:

Hoover Dam, constructed in Nevada’s Black Canyon between 1931-1936 during the Great Depression, is 726.4 ft (221.4 m) tall and 660ft (200 m) thick at its base. During its construction, enough rock was excavated to build the Great Wall of China. The dam contains enough concrete to build 3000 miles of road!
