London Bridge is not in England, but in the city of Lake Havasu, Arizona. In the 1960s, the city was looking for a new bridge to erect and put in a bid to buy the bridge, mistaking it for London’s iconic Tower Bridge. Lake Havasu won the bid, and though the bridge wasn’t what residents imagined, it was reconstructed and sits happily in the Arizona sun!
