Interesting fact:

In 1948, Korczak Ziolkowski started work on a carved memorial to Crazy Horse, a Lakota war hero, just eight miles from the presidential sculpture on Mount Rushmore. Today, work continues slowly on the Crazy Horse memorial. When completed, it will be a staggering 641 feet long and 563 feet tall, easily making it the largest sculpture in the world!
