When the first settlers came to conquer the West, they often clashed and warred with the Native Americans. The Native Americans didn‘t want to forfeit their lands and every day was a real struggle! Tensions mounted between the two sides and made the West a truly dangerous place. Settlers had to find a way to stay safe and protect their families, so they were granted the right to stow and use arms for protection. No wonder it’s called the WILD WILD West!
