If someone were suddenly blinded after having been able to see for a substantial part of their life, they would still have colourful dreams at night. But if another person gained the ability to see after having been blind their whole life, their eyes would work, but there might be a slight possibility that their brain wouldn’t know how to process all the new information for some time.
