In the 2003 Rugby World Cup final, a team from the Northern Hemisphere captured the trophy for the first and only time in the tournament’s history so far. The winning drop goal was kicked by Jonny Wilkinson in the dying minutes of injury time. He had already made two unsuccessful drop kick attempts before this, and the winning kick was scored using his weaker right foot!
