Interesting fact:

Remember those awesome sword sparks in Highlander? Well, they were actually produced by electrical wires! They were wrapped around the swords used in the film, fed down the arms of the actors and then hooked up to a car battery. Sounds dangerous. But with one wire attached to the negative terminal and the other to the positive, the results spoke for themselves – the arc of power was beautifully rendered!
