Interesting fact:

The original concept for Predator started out as a joke. Seriously. No kidding. Someone said that the only person that Rocky Balboa of the Rocky franchise had yet to fight by the mid-80s was E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. After the laughs settled down, the screenwriter thought...that’s not such a bad idea! Turns out it wasn’t at all.
