Interesting fact:

Did you know that CBS actually made a limited TV series of ‘Westworld’ back in 1980? The 1973 film ‘Westworld’ was a huge hit – though it’s sequel ‘Futureworld’ was most certainly not – and they were confident that ‘Beyond Westworld,’ the title for the TV show, would succeed. Sadly it passed by relatively unnoticed. The story followed a mad scientist who wanted to use the robots to (*gasp*) take over the world. How original!
