‘Westworld’ was the first feature film in history to use digitally processed scenes. The gunslinger sequences were altered to appear pixelated, running a total of 2 minutes and 31 seconds. This was achieved by separating the color layers of each of the 70mm film frames. It must have taken a very, very long time.
