The Duchess of York is now divorced from the Queen’s second-born son Andrew. They divorced during 1992 – a year the Queen called her ‘annus horribilis’ which means ‘horrible year’ in Latin. It was the year in which three of her four children got divorced and there were various press scandals in involving Diana and Charles.
