Interesting fact:

As well as having an incredible voice, Julie Andrews was also a talented whistler! It is her that did the whistling for the robin before the beginning of ‘A Spoonful of Sugar’. Andrews had a ring on her finger which connected to the robin so that she could move it during the scene.
