Interesting fact:

Not only did Nicholas Meyer direct "Star Trek II", he also wrote the screenplay in no time. In order to quickly start shooting, he forewent negotiations for credit and hence isn’t listed as author in the film’s titles. He currently serves as Consulting Producer on "Star Trek: Discovery".
