The Borg costume Jeri Ryan had to wear as Seven of Nine was so tight that it pressed on her carotid artery - before the costume was changed, she had already fainted twice. Her later outfits were more comfortable, but still impractical: they took 20 minutes to don, making something as mundane as a toilet break a major affair.
