Borat has seen more than his fair share of controversial moments. Whilst winding up a Rodeo crowd by singing the fake Kazakhstani national anthem, he came very close to being shot. He also upset the people of Glod, Romania, which was staged as Borat’s hometown. The residents, including a one-armed man given a suggestive rubber toy, filed a lawsuit against the film.
