These animals use different methods to get different kinds of food. They use grass stalks to catch termites from the formicary, and are also known to use simple tools like stones to break the shells of nuts and fruits. They will sometimes hunt as a coordinated team, going after some other, smaller species like red-tailed monkeys, yellow baboons, blue duikers, bushbucks and common warthogs with their special "group attacking tactic".
