The San Pedro prison in the city of la Paz in Bolivia inmates can either buy or rent their cells which range between $20 to $5,000 depending on the quality. Tourists entering the jail can see the inside and purchase drugs or souvenirs made by inmates. Despite the illegality, it is estimated that there are more than 50 tours conducted daily!
