In 2014 the US and Cuba began to normalize their relationship after decades of opposition and an American blockade. In March 2016 President Obama made a historic visit to Cuba to meet Raúl Castro – the current President of Cuba. They even watched a baseball match together – the Tampa Bay Rays versus the Cuban national team.
