Interesting fact:

Douglas Adams, author of “The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy,” was not a member of Monty Python, but he co-wrote a sketch for the television show and one for the Holy Grail soundtrack album. He made two brief appearances, in a minor role, in Monty Python's Flying Circus.
