The cast was taken to Las Vegas just before the show aired. Director, James Burrows, had a feeling that “Friends” would be a huge success and decided that the cast might as well enjoy themselves before the fame set in: “Once the show comes on the air, you guys will never be able to go anywhere without being hounded.”
