Interesting fact:

Though the Taj Mahal is often thought to be a palace, it is in fact a tomb for the one-time Mughal emperor’s wife. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful monuments to love in the world. Funnily enough, the Emperor also had plans for another Taj to mirror the existing one, but this time using black stone.
