The Leaning Tower of Pisa took was a gob-smacking 300 years in the making! Whilst its quirky and casual lean makes it an appealing tourist destination, it of course wasn’t supposed to look quite like that. Having been constructed on soft ground, the tower began to subside and now leans at just under 4 degrees. Boffins reckon it will collapse completely in the next 100 years.
