Dustin Hoffman plays the lead in the classic movie, The Graduate. He was sure he had botched the audition after fumbling his lines and awkwardly offending one of the actors in the scene. But it turns out the director thought he was perfect! Hoffman’s character is supposed to seem like a fish-out-of-water and so his audition was spot on.
