Auguste and Louis Lumière were among the first moviemakers in the world – having made their own camera which shot moving pictures. Funnily enough, they weren’t that interested in the idea of movies! They even said that, ‘the cinema is an invention without any future’ – it’s ironic to think how little they knew their invention would become so popular!
