Interesting fact:

Whilst considered a commercial and critical success, the recent movie has not been without its controversies. It was banned in Lebanon after protests regarding the actress Gal Gadot, who spent time serving in the Israeli military. There were also protests on the other side of the world in the USA, where Austin cinema Alama Drafthouse organised ‘women only’ screenings. These were deemed to be sexist against male viewers, and the cinema later opened these screenings to everybody which proved a great success.
