Do you know what the most expensive music instrument in the world is? It’s a Stradivarius violin which sold for $15.9 million in 2011! Stradivarius instruments were made during the 17th and 18th centuries – there are only 650 or so left today. They are made with very dense wood and supposed to have an extremely high quality sound.
