The last time Paul McCartney and John Lennon saw each other was several years before Lennon’s death. In April 1976, they hung out in New York at Lennon’s apartment to watch Saturday Night Live. When one of the comedians made a gag about getting the Beatles on the show, they joked about driving over to the studio!
