Interesting fact:

Harold Sakata, who played Oddjob, was also an American Olympic weightlifter, winning silver at the London Olympics in 1948. When filming the death scene of his character, Sakata was genuinely injured, though didn’t let the producers know until they shouted “cut”. What a badass.
