Interesting fact:

The guy inside of the Predator costume, Bolaji Badejo, beat Peter Mayhew – the man famous for portraying Chewbacca in Star Wars – to the job. He was also discovered by one of the casting directors in a bar! Being seven foot tall with very thin arms, you can imagine why he would have been approached for such an imposing alien.
