Interesting fact:

We all love a Christmas tree – but why do we do it? It’s thought the tradition originated in Germany in the 16th Century. In fact, national hero and founder of Protestantism Martin Luther is said to be the first person to add candles to his tree. A bit dangerous if you ask us, but pretty festive nonetheless.
