Interesting fact:
The coronations of British monarchs have been held in Westminster Abbey since 1066. The Abbey itself is over a thousand years old! It has also been host to royal weddings and funerals. It was originally built on the site where a salmon fisherman was said to have Saint Peter on the Thames. A fishing association continues to give a salmon to the Abbey every year to commemorate this!
