Interesting fact:

Bodybuilder-turned-actor David Prowse chose to play Darth Vader on the assumption that this would get him some publicity, but he would have no such luck. His voice was replaced by that of James Earl Jones, as Prowse’s own heavy Bristol accent was deemed too silly. To add insult to injury, he was replaced with Sebastian Shaw when Vader was finally unmasked in Episode VI.
