Nowadays 98% of all Christmas trees are grown on farms – rather than in the wild. They actually take six to ten years to mature. And the farmers often have to get helicopters in to help lift the harvested trees! An acre of Christmas trees will provide the daily oxygen requirements for 18 people – isn’t that amazing?
