Have you ever heard of America’s national Christmas tree? It is located in King’s Canyon National Park in California. It is a giant sequoia – 267 feet high and 40 feet across. It is thought to be between 1,500 and 2,000 years old! It is now a national shrine to honor the US military and every Christmas park rangers lay wreaths at the base of the tree.
