Interesting fact:

It may come as a surprise but the flag should not be used in advertising or for clothing. The U.S. Flag Code states that the flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever and that it also should not be draped to hang over any part of a vehicle, train or boat. It would appear this rule gets broken every now and then!
