Interesting fact:
The concept of history as a school of thought emerged with the ancient Greeks. Just like democracy, the Olympics and many other things we take for granted. However, the first historians may have played it a bit more ‘fast and loose’ than today’s historians. Questionable things like a “a woman gave birth to a goat” were thrown in with real events in ancient texts.
