One of the most memorable moments in horror history comes from the terrifying Japanese film "Ringu" (1998) – the moment where Sadako crawls out of a well and then out of her victim's television! The creepy nature of this scene was accomplished by playing the recorded footage backwards. The actress, Rie Ino’o, was also a master of Kabuki Theatre in Japan, meaning that she was well accustomed to using exaggerated and dramatic jerking movements.
