Are you aware of the theory that the Pokémon Ditto is actually a failed cloning experiment? Because scientists believed that Mew was actually dead, they began to try and clone the elusive monster. One of the failed results is believed to be the pink, genderless, and “Transform” move-using Ditto. These experiments also took place on Cinnabar Island, the location where the little guy can be caught. Coincidence?
