Interesting fact:

As we know, some of the origin stories of certain Pokémon are pretty bleak. None perhaps as bleak as Cubone’s though. The little mon’s face has never actually been seen because it wears a skull on its head. Pretty grim already. But the skull is actually that of...his mother. He missed her so much that he wore it on his head once she died. It’s also said that he makes an awful howl when there’s a full moon, as it reminds him of his mom. Well, that’s horrifying AND sad.
