Interesting fact:

Andrew Jackson was very fond of his parrot, Poll, who he bought for his wife Rachel. So, when Jackson died Poll was brought to the funeral to pay his respects. Unfortunately for the mourners Poll had been taught some rather salty language whilst living with Jackson. She gave forth a volley of swearwords and actually had to be removed from the funeral!
