The writing of the script for ‘Gone with the Wind’ was so dramatic that it got made into a play called ‘Moonlight & Magnolias’! Selznick, Fleming and Hecht locked themselves away for a week to turn the huge novel into a top-quality screenplay. Selznick reportedly collapsed from exhaustion at the end!
